Half
Wyrley
faced an uphill battle both literally and metaphorically throughout
the first half on a steeply sloping pitch.
With a number of key absences due to injury, Wyrley knew that this was going to be a tough test against a team second in the table with everything to play for. And so it proved, with Riley grabbing four goals in the first half while playing downhill, and Wyrley drawing the second half a goal apiece with the slope in their favour.
Wyrley's goal came courtesy of a Shaun Nicholls header at close range.
All in all, a battling performance by a Wyrley side who showed great commitment and spirit throughout the entire game.
